¡Felicidades. Se trata de involucrar a los habitantes para conocer sus intereses y también para indicar caminos que conduzcan a una mejora del ambiente colectivo.

Una de las heramientas que están empleando allí es la plataforma Mi Medellin que está recolectando numerosísimas ideas para la mejora de el ambiente urbano de una urbe muy degradada en el pasado. O la iniciativa Better Reykjavik que ha involucrado a más de 70.000 personas en una ciudad de 120.000 people. En esa isla al norte del Atlántico, las instituciones tramitan entre 10 and 15 iniciativas ciudadanas cada mes atendiendo así directamente a los intereses de sus residentes.

La Unión Europea está financiando numerosos proyectos para la creación de mejores entornos urbanos como es el caso de la iniciativa colaborativa OrganiCity, en la que participan varias ciudades europeas como Santander, Aarhus y Londres. Se trata de organizar talleres, encuentros y eventos que permitan estimular una conversación constante sobre las situaciones y problemas locales como una vía para mejorar la calidad de las ciudades.

In Tenerife, el actual Presidente del Cabildo lanzó la propuesta Visionarios, Entretodos Tenerife que recibió alrededor de 500 propuestas de las que se seleccionaron 100 para llevarse a cabo. Ultimately, esa idea se ha concretado entre otras cuestiones en una operación de marketing que busca establecer la creación de una red de expertos en comunicación digital y social media con varias líneas de actuación.

RENEWAL OF THE RIVER MARGINS ljubljanica

The 20 April 2012 se ha fallado el Premio Europeo del Espacio Público que siete instituciones europeas convocan con carácter bianual para reconocer las mejores obras realizadas en este continente.

Photographer Bujedo Iñigo Aguirre ha realizado un magnífico trabajo fotográfico sobre la obra de la arquitecta italiano brasileña Lina Bo Bardi.

As part of the exhibition "The last humanist", recoge una serie de impresionantes ilustraciones de la obra de la arquitecta en la ciudad de Sao Paulo.

Javier Manterola is one of the greatest engineers that has given this country in the last century. Is Academic of Fine Arts and the National Engineering Award. His long connection with the calculation of structures and performing exquisite bridges Spanish geography filled memorable constructions.
