you're absolutely right few cities in the world can boast sculptures as important as santa cruz de Tenerife joan miro , oscar dominguez, henry moore, Martin chirino , Corberó , Igor Mitoraj,(kan yasuda en garachico!!!) etc. , and architectural works of Herzog and demeuron Calatrava (dispute to the)and they are not given the full attention they deserve , in fact most of the people of Santa Cruz desconococen they have , not to mention politicians. The best example of this is the work of Jaume Plensa this at the beginning of the boulevard that is small posters with names of artists of all ages , which night is not pq are some with broken light bulbs!!! We are talking about a man who is the author of a fountain in the millenium park chicago!!!!! en fin..

We have a first sculptural heritage order on the streets of our city.
However, apathy and ignorance are constantly attacking these magnificent works. The graffiti and graffiti are constant something that would have to locate and penalize the perpetrators as they do in other places. Worse is the wild signage is unchecked reinstalled on the walls and walls in very specific areas. But the last straw is when they break these sculptures to take part, reiterdamente as has happened with the work of Joan Miró-of which have been the extremidadesque- y que está en el Parque de Viera y Clavijo.
Something should do all: spoiling us and denouncing these abuses. And our municipal officials, punishing those responsible. Que para eso les elegimos como políticos y pagamos a sus ejecutores funcionarios.
