One day in New York

After visiting the Blog Edgar González , and watch the cool video City#3721 Lam Ho Tak student, I tried a little research on the visual technique used to mix the time-lapse with the tilt-shift. The time-lapse is an accelerated video sequence, where events happen at a much faster rate than normal, on the other hand the tilt-shift is based on the use of “shift lenses” the “tilting lens” creating an optical illusion that makes us see objects as thumbnails.
When you look at a model of truth, the eye is focused on a very short distance, so that things which are a little too quickly fade away, similar to these photos. The photos that have natural shine and are somewhat "washed" trick complete loss of detail of distant objects, that make focused objects actually appear in a mock.
As a sign of this new visual technique've posted this interesting video of Sam O'Hare which combines both techniques with everyday scenes of New York City, giving the feeling that before us was a completely realistic model.
