House on the Hill

THE HOUSE ON THE HILL. Pacific Palisades, Los Ángeles. Johnston&Marklee Architects. Photos: Eric Staudenmaier

  • Interesting housing. The volume and shapes also remind me of a Rem Koolhaas, in this case to the House of Music in Porto. Both are chiselled where voids volumes take a considerable role.

  • Is not this overly formalistic? Is it to explore the deformation of a cube is needed to put people living within? I personally own issues seem sculpture and I think quite beaten. Nor which spaces are interesting or what makes it interesting is the photo for the magazine chachi… Federico, the question is for you…. A hug

  • Carlos:
The truth is I do not know that answer you.
At this time I skated Friday neurons.
However, I find interesting if cleaning the resulting space, although it is likely that the use of the deformation of the cube would not have been necessary.
It may be a work excessively formalistic and the photos do the problem refelejn together after several years. These cracks in the plaster!!!
    Or is concrete?
